Elixson Farms
Mark Elixson is a first-generation farmer who has owned Elixson Farms since 2018. He raises beef cattle in Union County.
Elixson has implemented effective Best Management Practices to protect the natural resources in and around his property.
On his farm, with the help of his local UF/IFAS Extension Agent, Elixson conducts soil monitoring/testing, plants native grasses, and implements cross fencing to maintain soil health and prevent erosion.
Elixson is a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Raiford.
The Florida Farm Bureau Federation is honored to award a 2022 CARES designation and sign to Mark Elixson for his continued dedication to being an exemplary environmental steward.
