Bigham Farms, Jackson County
William Bigham implements BMPs and has participated in the EQIP program, which benefit water conservation and water quality, improves soil health and prevents soil erosion.
To reduce water usage, William works closely with the Northwest Florida Water Management District and has implemented low pressure nozzles on his pivots. As part of the EQIP program, William has installed fencing and cross fencing to control rotational grazing, utilizes cover crops and provides wildlife habitat.
