Since 1996, Larry Sessions has raised timber and beef cattle in Live Oak, Florida. Through implementing Best Management Practices (BMPs) he is able to effectively protect his family farm and the natural resources found throughout it.

Some of the most effective BMPs implemented include soil sampling, an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program, prescribed burning, fencing off waterways and cross fencing.

Sessions is actively involved in the Suwannee County Commission, Florida Farm Bureau Federation and Florida Cattleman’s Association.

Florida Farm Bureau Federation is proud to award a 2018 CARES designation and sign to Larry Sessions and family for their dedication in being outstanding environmental stewards.
